Seven houses with approximately 63,000m2 land

| The property is called "Monte Dos Calistos" and it is a typical farm of Alentejo (called Monte because it is situated on the top of the hills) in the south of Portugal 110 miles from Lisbon. It is about 300 metres away from the main road, Reguengos de Monsaraz-Alandroal, and Vila Vicosa and 5 miles from Reguengos the nearest main village. It is within the great "Alentejos Vineyard Route". At 10 miles from Monsaraz, a 900 years old village built within a castle, side by side with the beautiful great lakes of the Guadiana River (Alqueva) that can be seen from the "Monte". |

| The property is wire fenced all around (typical of the area) and has got two large walled entrances with large and very well built iron gates fitted with bell and interphone to the main house. On the property are almost 500 Olive trees, Cork trees, Almond trees and a number of fruit trees (oranges, grapefruits, tangerines, lemons, apples, peaches, cherries, etc.). There is plenty of water from a stone walled well and a bore hole that goes as deep as 120 metres and has an average water supply of 7,500 litres per hour (1,800 gallons). Electricity is supplied by a powerful diesel generator. |

| There are 5 houses built inline plus 2 separate ones, one of them in ruins (but recoverable) and a warehouse. THEY ALL HAVE SEPARATE INDIVIDUAL URBAN DOCUMENTS. This is extremely important to be able to get future Council Building Licences for rebuilding any of the houses.

One of the five houses was rebuilt in the beginning of 2005, using the original main walls but with new wooden ceilings and new roof with heat isolation. Also installed were a new kitchen and a small bathroom with shower. They were all installed in old style finishing but with contemporary designed taps, toilet and sink.
There is also a new sewage system, including a final main sewage treatment tank (septic tank). The new electricity, gas and water systems have been mounted through the interior of the walls. New wooden windows and doors have also been installed.

This house was originally a prototype for rebuilding all the other four houses. They include old style finishing, walls, ceiling, doors, windows and some contemporary designed accessories.

Within the property everything has been wired internally with service boxes. Some have plugs for the use of electric machinery (when needed) and fitted with big old style lanterns.

There are some Roman style walls and stairs throughout the property. The stones used were from the property itself. The floor of the main house is made of the same type of stone with the exception of the harder and darker variety (almost black) which comes from the land near Guadiana River.

Although one cannot see them from the property, there are three very small villages within 3 kms with shopping facilities.There are fantastic views in very quiet surroundings. |
